castle or villa being dismantled that David Del Dotto came across
while traveling in Italy. This winery is truly breathtaking, and the
wine is all between 90 and 96 points... I'm not big on the ratings...
But these wines are truly phenomenal. The 2005 David Bordeaux Blend
and the 100% Sangiovese are noteworthy wines. Their French Oak
Cabernets are equally excellent as well. Full flavor and rounded
tannins are to be expected and they deliver with no hesitation. The
delivery is well-timed and appropriately ebullient.
